A healthcare facility in Richmond, IN is seeking two skilled Pharmacy Technicians to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves supporting pharmacy operations in a fast-paced hospital environment, ensuring medications are accurately prepared and distributed to meet patient care needs.

Schedule:

• Days/afternoons
• 8-hour shifts
• 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding following established protocols
• Restock automated medication dispensing systems (Pyxis machines)
• Respond to phone inquiries within the pharmacy promptly and professionally
• Deliver medications to patient care units efficiently
• Identify and remove expired medications to maintain safety and compliance

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Active Indiana Pharmacy Technician license or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Minimum of 2 years of recent hospital-based pharmacy technician experience
• Proficiency in sterile compounding techniques and standards
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a clinical setting
• Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with clinical staff
