A healthcare facility in Richmond, IN is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations on a contract basis. This role offers a consistent daytime and afternoon schedule, with 8-hour shifts totaling 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing sterile and non-sterile compounding to prepare medications accurately and safely
• Restocking automated medication dispensing systems (Pyxis machines)
• Fielding incoming calls into the pharmacy and providing prompt assistance
• Delivering medications to patient care floors as needed
• Pulling expired medications and maintaining proper inventory control

Ideal candidates will possess:

• An active Indiana Pharmacy Technician license or the ability to obtain one promptly
• Minimum of 2 years current hospital experience in a similar role
• Hands-on experience with sterile compounding procedures
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance
