Per Diem Pharmacy Technician in Rio Rancho, NM

An opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician to support daily operations in a pharmacy setting. This per diem role is based in Albuquerque, NM, with a consistent weekday schedule offering approximately 8.5-hour shifts from Monday to Friday.

Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Friday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications as prescribed by licensed healthcare professionals
• Provide accurate information and guidance to customers regarding medication use
• Deliver exceptional customer service that supports patient care and satisfaction
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain efficient workflow and compliance with safety standards

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Pharmacy Technician license for New Mexico is required
• Previous experience in retail and/or long-term care pharmacy environments is strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
