Support innovative at-home chronic care management in a dynamic mail order pharmacy setting. This contract opportunity offers a Monday to Friday schedule, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, for 13 weeks, starting as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret sig codes, select appropriate products, and process prescription refills efficiently
• Perform accurate data entry, verify insurance coverage, and resolve claim rejections promptly
• Prepare, label, and package medications for pharmacist approval, ensuring quality and safety
• Maintain inventory controls including completing cycle counts and managing medication returns
• Manage inbound and outbound patient calls, as well as prescriber requests, with professionalism
• Adhere strictly to HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid regulations, and organizational protocols

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• Active Pharmacy Technician license in Virginia and current PTCB certification
• Excellent communication abilities combined with strong multitasking and time management skills
