Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Responsibilities
Process prescription orders accurately and efficiently
Interpret prescription sig codes and process refill requests
Perform data entry and maintain accurate patient records
Verify insurance information and resolve claim rejections
Troubleshoot NDC changes and medication-related issues
Prepare, label, package, and stage medications for pharmacist verification
Assist with shipping and order fulfillment processes
Handle inbound and outbound patient calls professionally
Communicate with prescribers regarding prescription clarifications and refill requests
Maintain inventory, perform cycle counts, and process returns
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid, and company policies
Support workflow initiatives to improve patient service and operational efficiency
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Active Virginia Pharmacy Technician License
Current PTCB Certification
Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy technician experience
Experience with prescription processing and insurance adjudication
Strong data entry and computer skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Strong multitasking, organizational, and time management skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of HIPAA and pharmacy regulatory requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Mail order pharmacy experience
Experience handling prescription insurance claims and rejections
Experience with inventory management and medication fulfillment operations
