Specialty Pharmacy Technician - Rochester, MN

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support a retail / long-term care pharmacy setting in Rochester, MN. This is a contract assignment with confirmed dates and schedule, ideal for a licensed technician who is reliable, customer-focused, and comfortable stepping into an established workflow.

This is a great short-term opportunity to work with a respected pharmacy organization and gain additional retail/LTC experience.

Schedule

The assignment follows a set weekday schedule with a mix of full and partial days, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with some Fridays ending at 12:00 PM.
Coverage runs from late December through the end of January.

Key Responsibilities

• Distribute medications prescribed by physicians and other authorized providers

• Provide accurate information to customers regarding medications and proper use

• Deliver a high level of customer service and patient support

• Assist with day-to-day pharmacy operations as needed

• Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies and procedures

• Work collaboratively with pharmacists and pharmacy staff

Required Qualifications

• Active Minnesota Pharmacy Technician License

• Previous pharmacy technician experience

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Ability to work efficiently in a retail or long-term care pharmacy setting

Preferred (treated as required for candidate screening)

• Prior experience in a retail and/or long-term care pharmacy environment
