Per Diem Pharmacy Technician - Rochester, NY

A Per Diem Pharmacy Technician opportunity is available for a short-term assignment from March 17, 2026, through April 3, 2026, in Rochester, New York. This role offers valuable experience in both retail and 340B pharmacy environments, working closely under pharmacist supervision.

• Hours: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (may extend to 9:00 am – 7:00 pm)

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately entering patient information and prescription orders into the pharmacy system.
• Assisting in dispensing prescription orders under pharmacist guidance.
• Managing and ordering over-the-counter (OTC) inventory to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Greeting and supporting customers by addressing their needs and concerns with professionalism and care.
• Resolving adjudication issues with third-party prescription plans to facilitate prescription processing.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Experience in retail pharmacy or familiarity with 340B pharmacy programs is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work within a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
