Per Diem Pharmacy Technician - Rochester, NY

A pharmacy technician position is available for a per diem assignment in Rochester, New York, covering a two-week period from March 17, 2026, through April 3, 2026. The role offers a Monday through Friday schedule with shift hours initially set from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, which may adjust to 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter patient information and prescription orders into the pharmacy computer system.
• Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications safely and efficiently.
• Manage over-the-counter (OTC) inventory, ensuring sufficient stock levels.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their needs or concerns.
• Work with third-party prescription plans to resolve adjudication issues and help process prescriptions smoothly.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Prior experience in retail or 340B pharmacy environments is preferred.
