Per Diem Pharmacy Technician in Rochester, NY

A per diem Pharmacy Technician opportunity is available for a 2-week assignment in Rochester, New York, spanning from March 17, 2026, to April 3, 2026. This role requires dedication to accuracy, customer service, and teamwork within a fast-paced pharmacy environment.

Schedule & Hours:

• Monday through Friday, 1st shift
• 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (potential for extended hours up to 7:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter patient information and prescription orders into the pharmacy computer system.
• Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of prescription medications.
• Monitor and manage over-the-counter (OTC) inventory, ensuring stock levels meet demand.
• Provide courteous, efficient service when greeting and assisting customers.
• Collaborate with third-party insurance providers to resolve prescription processing issues.

Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Experience in retail pharmacy settings or working with 340B pharmacy programs is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
