A pharmacy technician position is available in Rocky Hill, CT, supporting a long-term care (LTC) pharmacy specializing in intellectual and developmental disorder (IDD) services. This contract opportunity is urgent and requires an immediate start with a duration of approximately four weeks. The shift runs from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with flexibility to start early or work later within this timeframe.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately fill prescription orders to ensure timely medication delivery
- Perform blister packing and precise labeling of medications
- Utilize the Frameworks system effectively to manage daily workflow
- Maintain quality standards consistent with LTC pharmacy operations
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Pharmacy Technician license for Connecticut (must have license in hand)
- Experience working in an LTC pharmacy preferred; retail pharmacy technicians with a strong ability to manage high volume are also encouraged to apply
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
