This temporary Lead Technician role supports an inpatient behavioral health setting specializing in adolescent and adult care. The position requires a dedicated pharmacy technician to manage day-to-day pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision. The role offers a Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm schedule with no weekend shifts, providing stability and predictability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fill medication orders accurately and efficiently
  • Deliver medications to medication rooms within the facility
  • Manage and stock pharmacy inventory to ensure availability
  • Receive daily warehouse orders and reconcile associated invoices
  • Review and process medication recalls promptly
  • Assist in medication room audits and other supportive tasks
  • Participate in a two-day hospital orientation followed by onsite training by the Director of Pharmacy and pharmacist staff

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Current Arkansas pharmacy technician license required
  • National certification preferred
  • Experience in inpatient or retail pharmacy environments preferred
  • Familiarity with HCS Order Entry System is a plus; training provided
  • Experience with Omnicell automation systems advantageous, but not required
  • Comfortable working in a behavioral health setting

Location:

  • Fayetteville, Arkansas (local candidates preferred)
  • If relocation is necessary, mileage and lodging support to be reviewed

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
  • No weekend coverage required

Professional environment with a business casual or scrubs dress code (excluding blue to avoid patient confusion). This contract assignment begins July 27th and covers approximately 40 hours per week until the permanent position is filled.
