Pharmacy Technician - Rogers, Arkansas

A temporary lead technician position is available in a behavioral health hospital setting located in Fayetteville, AR. This contract role requires dedicated coverage from July 27th, working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with no weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill medication orders and deliver medications to medication rooms
• Manage and stock pharmacy inventory efficiently
• Receive and reconcile daily warehouse orders and invoices
• Review and process medication recalls promptly
• Assist in medication room audits and provide support to the pharmacist as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current Arkansas pharmacy technician license
• Inpatient or retail pharmacy technician experience
• National pharmacy technician certification
• Familiarity with hospital order entry systems; training available on HCS
• Experience or openness to learning Omnicell automation software (installation begins July 20, 2026)
• Comfortable working within adolescent and adult behavioral health specialties
• Ability to complete hospital orientation (2 days) plus on-site pharmacy training

Work Environment & Dress Code:

• Business casual or any scrub color except blue (to avoid patient uniform confusion)
• Small, focused team with approximately 1.2 pharmacist full-time equivalents
