Reliable Pharmacy Technicians Needed for Per Diem Opportunities – Greater Sacramento Area

A leading retail pharmacy requires dependable pharmacy technicians to join their per diem team working primarily 3-4 days per week, with additional hours available for those interested. This position offers consistent weekly work and an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy environment. Coverage includes multiple sites across the greater Sacramento area, with possible assignments in Lodi and Stockton, offering flexibility and options.

Location:

• Greater Sacramento area, including potential assignment in Lodi and Stockton

Schedule/Hours:

• Days, evenings, and weekends
• Minimum of 3-4 days per week

Responsibilities:

• Perform typical retail pharmacy technician duties including answering phones, data entry, label printing, filling and dispensing prescriptions
• Manage cash register transactions accurately
• Oversee inventory management and process takebacks
• Collaborate with pharmacy team to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in high-volume retail pharmacy settings (candidates with less than 1 year of experience will not be considered)
• Strong teamwork and communication skills essential
• Demonstrated reliability and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment

Additional Information:

• Mileage reimbursement provided for travel exceeding 30 miles to assigned sites
• Initial training will be provided to support your success
