Pharmacy Technician - Round Rock, TX

An opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician specializing in IV/Inpatient care to work overnight shifts at a leading healthcare facility in Round Rock, TX. This contract role spans approximately 13 weeks, beginning on March 9th, with a schedule of 7 days on followed by 7 days off, from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and compound sterile IV medications in compliance with safety standards
• Support pediatric inpatient pharmacy operations during overnight hours
• Utilize EPIC system for medication order processing and documentation
• Collaborate with pharmacy and clinical staff to ensure accurate and timely medication delivery

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Registered Pharmacy Technician license in Texas (RPHT-TX) is mandatory
• IV certification required; 40 hours of sterile compounding training preferred
• CPHT certification preferred
• Minimum of 2 years hospital pharmacy technician experience, with pediatric experience preferred
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system is required
• Familiarity with pediatric pharmacy procedures is a plus
