Seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to support a busy retail pharmacy team in the Sacramento area. This per diem opportunity offers consistent work with flexible schedules, perfect for candidates ready to contribute immediately.
Locations include various sites throughout greater Sacramento, with occasional shifts available in nearby Lodi and Stockton. Technicians will cover day, evening, and weekend shifts, working 3-4 days weekly or more depending on availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform typical high-volume retail pharmacy tasks such as answering phones, data entry, label printing, dispensing medications, operating the cash register, managing inventory, and handling takebacks.
- Collaborate effectively with pharmacy staff ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Participate in client-provided training to maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician in a high-volume retail setting.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
- Must hold a valid California pharmacy technician license; PTCB certification preferred.
- Demonstrated reliability and commitment to scheduled shifts.
Additional Information:
- Mileage reimbursement is provided for travel exceeding 30 miles to assigned locations.
