Per Diem Pharmacy Technician - Sacramento, California

A pharmacy technician opportunity is available supporting retail pharmacy operations in the greater Sacramento area, including Lodi and Stockton. This per diem position offers consistent weekly hours, working a minimum of 3-4 days per week with flexibility for additional shifts. Shifts include days, evenings, and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in high-volume retail pharmacy duties such as answering phones, data entry, label printing, filling and dispensing prescriptions
• Operate the cash register and manage inventory, including takebacks
• Collaborate effectively with team members, maintaining clear communication to ensure smooth workflow
• Participate in client-provided training sessions to maintain compliance and enhance skills

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a retail pharmacy technician in a high-volume setting, with at least one year required
• Strong teamwork and communication skills essential
• Valid California pharmacy technician license; PTCB certification preferred
• Ability to provide an updated resume, skills checklist, one retail supervisor reference, and copies of licensing documentation

Additional Details:

• Mileage reimbursement offered for travel exceeding 30 miles from the technician's home to the assigned site
