Per Diem Pharmacy Tech - Sacramento, California

A dynamic opportunity is available for experienced Pharmacy Technicians seeking a per diem role in the greater Sacramento area. This position requires dedicated professionals with a strong background in retail pharmacy settings who can provide reliable and skilled support in a fast-paced environment.

Location:

• Sacramento, CA, with potential assignments in Lodi/Stockton.

Schedule/Hours:

• Per diem availability required, with the expectation of working at least 3-4 days per week.
• Shifts available during days, evenings, and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform typical retail pharmacy technician duties including answering phones, data entry, label printing, filling and dispensing prescriptions, cash register operations, inventory management, and handling medication takebacks.
• Maintain effective communication and teamwork within the pharmacy team to ensure optimal service delivery.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of high-volume retail pharmacy technician experience.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills essential.
• Must hold a valid California Pharmacy Technician license; PTCB certification is advantageous.
• Reliable and driven candidates ready to start immediately.

Additional Information:

• Mileage reimbursement provided for travel exceeding 30 miles from home to assignment site.
• Client provides initial training over a few days to integrate new technicians effectively.
• Candidates must submit an updated resume, skills checklist, one retail supervisor reference, and copies of CA license and PTCB certification (if applicable).
