Pharmacy Technician - Saint Augustine, Florida

A pharmacy technician position is available on a contract basis in Jacksonville, FL, with an immediate start. This 8-week assignment may extend depending on performance and mutual fit. Candidates must be prepared for a fast-paced retail environment and demonstrate proficiency in dispensing duties and high-volume data entry.

Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform typical retail pharmacy technician tasks including processing prescriptions and data entry efficiently.
• Provide high-level patient care and support through clear communication.
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacy team members and healthcare providers.
• Proactively identify workflow needs and assist as necessary to maintain operations.
• Uphold a positive and professional attitude at all times.

Required Qualifications:

• Recent experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy setting within the last two years.
• Florida Pharmacy Technician license.
• Familiarity with QS1 pharmacy software is essential.
• Experience with HIV/AIDS medication dispensing must be clearly indicated on the resume.
