An immediate opening is available for a Pharmacy Technician in Jacksonville, FL, offering an 8-week contract with potential extension based on performance. This role is vital in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment, focusing on high-volume dispensing and data entry. The technician will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely medication distribution while supporting patient care initiatives.

Location: Jacksonville, FL
Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-volume prescription processing and dispensing with accuracy
• Maintain efficient data entry in the QS1 pharmacy software system
• Provide exceptional patient care and support through clear communication
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers and pharmacy team members
• Demonstrate pharmacy intuition by proactively addressing workflow needs
• Ensure punctual and consistent attendance with a positive, team-oriented attitude

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Florida Pharmacy Technician license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy setting
• Experience dispensing HIV/AIDS medications strongly preferred and must be clearly noted on the resume
• Proficiency with QS1 pharmacy software or similar systems
• Strong communication skills with patients and healthcare providers
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt proactively to workflow demands
