Pharmacy Technician | Saint Augustine, Florida

A pharmacy technician position is available on a contract basis in Jacksonville, FL, with an immediate start and an initial duration of eight weeks. This assignment may be extended for the right candidate who demonstrates a strong fit.

Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Perform typical retail pharmacy technician duties, including high-volume data entry and accurate dispensing.
• Maintain a brisk pace to meet the demands of a busy retail environment.
• Provide a high level of patient care and support, ensuring clear communication with patients and healthcare providers.
• Collaborate effectively with the pharmacy team and actively identify areas where assistance is needed, demonstrating pharmacy intuition and proactivity.
• Uphold punctuality and commitment to daily attendance.

Qualifications:

• Florida pharmacy technician licensure.
• Minimum of two years’ recent experience working in high-volume retail pharmacy settings; candidates without recent high-volume experience will not be considered.
• Experience dispensing HIV/AIDS medications is required and must be clearly noted on the resume, even if minimal.
• Proficiency with QS1 pharmacy software or similar systems.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude are essential.
