Pharmacy Technician - Saint Johns, Florida

An immediate opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician to support a busy healthcare facility in Saint Johns, FL. This position is on a contract basis, starting as soon as possible, with an initial duration of eight weeks and potential for extension based on performance and fit.

Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform typical retail pharmacy technician duties, including high-volume data entry and dispensing of medications.
• Maintain a consistent pace in a fast-moving, high-volume environment.
• Provide exceptional patient care and communication support.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers and pharmacy team members.
• Demonstrate pharmacy intuition by proactively addressing workflow needs.
• Support dispensing of specialized medications, including HIV/AIDS treatments, if applicable.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Must hold an active Florida Pharmacy Technician license.
• Minimum of two years’ recent experience in high-volume retail pharmacy settings.
• Experience with HIV/AIDS medication dispensing must be clearly documented on the resume.
• Proficiency with QS1 pharmacy software or similar systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, patient-focused attitude.
• Dependable and punctual with a commitment to regular attendance.
