An exciting opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician to support a small hospital in the St. Louis suburbs. This contract role offers approximately 8 weeks of engagement, starting as soon as possible, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Responsibilities include:
- Sterile compounding to ensure accurate and safe medication preparation
- Restocking Omnicell systems to maintain pharmacy inventory efficiency
- Managing incoming calls to the pharmacy, providing timely and professional responses
- Supporting daily pharmacy operations to ensure smooth workflow
Ideal candidates will possess:
- A valid Missouri Pharmacy Technician license
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience, with preference given to those familiar with hospital settings
- Residency local to the St. Louis area to facilitate ease of commute and onsite availability
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
