A small hospital in the St. Louis suburbs is seeking a qualified Pharmacy Technician for an approximately 8-week contract starting ASAP. This role involves supporting pharmacy operations in a hospital setting, ensuring efficient and safe medication distribution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform sterile compounding following hospital protocols and safety standards
- Restock Omnicell automated dispensing cabinets accurately and efficiently
- Field incoming calls to the pharmacy, providing assistance and routing as needed
- Support pharmacy staff with daily operational tasks to maintain workflow
Qualifications:
- Valid Missouri Pharmacy Technician License required
- Previous experience in a hospital pharmacy setting preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
- Proximity to the St. Louis area is highly desirable
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
