Support pharmacy operations within a specialized ambulatory infusion setting focused on patients managing cancer, autoimmune diseases, infections, and more. This role assists pharmacists with clinical data collection, problem solving, patient interaction, and accurate medication order processing while working under pharmacist supervision.

Contract Details:

  • Start: ASAP
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (no weekends)
  • EMR System: EPIC

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with pharmacists to support clinical and operational functions
  • Assist in processing medication orders with precision and attention to detail
  • Gather and assess clinical data to aid in patient care decisions
  • Participate in IV admixture preparation and sterile technique procedures within infusion services
  • Engage directly with patients, providing support and information as needed

Qualifications and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Current, unrestricted Certified Pharmacy Technician license for Oregon
  • Minimum 18 months of Pharmacy Technician experience required
  • Demonstrated proficiency with computer keyboarding and calculator use for precise calculations
  • Strong technical experience, including IV admixture and sterile techniques essential
  • Experience in assessing clinical data to support pharmacists’ decision-making
  • Ability to successfully complete pre-employment drug screening
