Pharmacy Technician in San Antonio, TX

An opportunity is available for experienced Pharmacy Technicians to join a dynamic fulfillment team supporting fast-paced dispensing and packaging operations. This contract role offers an exciting chance to apply retail pharmacy skills in a closed-door production environment and gain valuable experience with specialized pharmacy systems.

Location: San Antonio, TX

Schedule:

• 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts
• Typical start time at 8:00 AM, with possible variations to 9:00 AM or 10:00 AM

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and package medications for courier pickup and delivery with accuracy and efficiency
• Support fast-paced dispensing operations in a production setting
• Utilize pharmacy software systems (preferably Pioneer Rx) to manage prescriptions and workflow
• Maintain strict adherence to standard operating procedures and safety regulations

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Pharmacy Technician license required
• Prior retail pharmacy technician experience preferred
• Familiarity with Pioneer Rx system is highly desirable; candidates with this skill set are likely to receive priority consideration
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) is a plus
