Pharmacy Technician in San Antonio, TX

A dynamic opportunity is available for skilled Pharmacy Technicians to support high-volume production and fulfillment operations in a fast-paced environment. This role involves precision dispensing, preparation, and packaging of medications for timely courier pick-up and delivery.

Start Dates:

• June 1
• June 8
• June 15

Duration:

• Approximately 8 to 12 weeks, with potential to transition to a permanent position

Schedule:

• 8:00 AM start, working five 8-hour shifts per week
• Flexibility to start at 9:00 AM or 10:00 AM as needed

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications according to prescription orders in a timely manner
• Prepare and package prescriptions for courier pick-up while ensuring quality and safety standards
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace conducive to efficient workflow
• Utilize pharmacy software systems to manage orders and inventory

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Texas Pharmacy Technician license required
• Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred, bringing valuable skills adaptable to a closed-door setting
• Familiarity with Pioneer Rx software is highly desirable and may lead to automatic consideration
• National certification is a plus but not mandatory
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
