Pharmacy Technician in San Carlos, AZ

A Pharm Tech position is available at a tribal clinic/hospital in San Carlos, AZ. This role involves supporting pharmacy operations in a remote healthcare setting with a focus beyond retail pharmacy, incorporating some hospital experience.

Schedule:

• 10-hour day shifts

Responsibilities:

• Assist with medication preparation and dispensing in a clinical environment
• Manage inventory and pharmacy records using RPMS, a proprietary system commonly used in IHS hospitals and clinics, similar to the VA's Vista system
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure safe and effective medication use
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and clinic protocols

Qualifications:

• Pharmacy Technician license required
• Experience in hospital or clinical pharmacy settings preferred
• Positive attitude and adaptability to a remote clinic environment
• Familiarity with RPMS or willingness to learn

Location and Housing:

• Position located at a tribal clinic/hospital in San Carlos, Arizona
• Inexpensive on-campus shared housing available at $400/month, with private bedrooms and shared bathrooms and kitchens; housing is non-coed and shared among three people per apartment
