A specialty pharmacy in San Diego is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support their team. This contract opportunity offers the potential to transition into a permanent role based on performance and fit, with a start date as soon as possible.

Schedule:

• 8-hour day shifts: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
• Some weekend shifts required

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill prescriptions in a specialty pharmacy setting
• Process medication authorizations efficiently and effectively
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care

Qualifications:

• Current California Pharmacy Technician license is required
• Experience working in specialty pharmacy preferred
• Prior experience processing medication authorizations highly desired
• Local candidates preferred to facilitate on-site work and minimize commute
