Pharmacy Technicians are needed for a registry role in a busy, high-volume retail pharmacy serving the community of San Francisco County. This county hospital position offers a unique opportunity for those seeking flexible, per diem hours with the potential for long-term engagement. Candidates should be prepared to work approximately 3 to 4 days per week, averaging 24 hours weekly, with some weeks extending to 40+ hours based on departmental need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
- Support inventory management, including stocking and maintaining medication supplies.
- Utilize EPIC and Omnicell systems to manage prescriptions and patient information.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare staff.
- Adhere to all safety and regulatory protocols within the pharmacy setting.
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Pharmacy Technician certification preferred but new graduates and retail experience are welcome.
- Familiarity with EPIC and Omnicell technology a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work shifts starting between 6 am and 3 pm, with 8.5-hour shifts (including a 30-minute lunch).

- Predominantly weekday shifts.
- Shift start times: 6:00 am, 8:00 am, 10:00 am, 12:00 pm, 1:00 pm, or 3:00 pm.
