Pharmacy Technicians are needed for a fast-paced production role supporting a special project in the Bay Area. This position offers an excellent opportunity for pharmacy technicians to gain hands-on experience in medication fulfillment while working under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.

Location: Bay Area, CA (Near San Francisco)

Employment Type: Contract
Duration: Immediate start through 5/31
Shift Options:

  • Four days, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Six evenings, 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fill prescriptions and prepackage medications for dispensing in compliance with standards and government regulations.
  • Assist the Pharmacist in final prescription checks, including preparing and packaging medications post-final review.
  • Coordinate accurate and timely delivery of medications to customers.
  • Support Pharmacy Management by maintaining inventory practices such as receiving shipments, rotating stock, documenting lot numbers and expiration dates, and assisting with physical inventories.
  • Collaborate with the Technician Supervisor to ensure a clean and safe work environment and verify that equipment is calibrated, safe, and clean.
  • This role does not include IV preparation; focus is strictly on fulfillment tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Pharmacy Technician license required.
  • Experience working in a pharmacy setting with knowledge of medication dispensing and inventory management.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently within a team and follow direct supervision.
