Environment: Inpatient Hospital
Schedule: 7 on, 7 off (9:00 PM – 7:00 AM), typically Thursday to Thursday
Duration: 13 weeks contract-to-hire
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate order entry using Meditech system
- Operate and manage medication automated systems, including Pyxis
- Prepare sterile compounded medications following safety and quality standards
- Support inpatient pharmacy operations to ensure timely medication distribution
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio pharmacy technician license
- National pharmacy technician certification
- Demonstrated experience in inpatient pharmacy settings
- Proficient in sterile compounding practices
- Hands-on experience with Pyxis medication management system
