Per Diem Retail Pharmacy Technician - Sanger, California

A healthcare facility in Sanger, CA is seeking a dependable Pharmacy Technician to support their retail pharmacy operations on a per diem, short-term contract basis. This role is anticipated to last approximately 4-6 weeks with a potential to transition to a permanent position, especially for candidates proficient in Spanish.

Location: Sanger, CA (Candidates likely reside in Fresno, CA, with a daily commute of approximately 15-20 minutes.)

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Perform retail/community pharmacy technician duties within a health center environment.
• Prepare and dispense medications accurately using the Rx30 system.
• Assist pharmacy staff and interact with patients in a professional manner.
• Maintain strict adherence to schedules, ensuring punctuality and reliability.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a retail pharmacy technician.
• Valid California Pharmacy Technician license; PTCB certification is a plus.
• Strong commitment to attendance and punctuality is essential.
• Spanish-speaking candidates are highly preferred and will receive preferential consideration.
