Pharmacy Technician - Sanger, California

A pharmacy technician opportunity is available to support maternity leave coverage at a busy community health center pharmacy. This role requires a dependable candidate with retail pharmacy technician experience to work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM for approximately 5 to 6 months starting between August 31 and September 8.

Location & Commute:

• The position is in Parlier, CA.
• Candidates will likely commute from Fresno, CA, with a daily 20+ minute drive.
• No mileage reimbursement is provided.

Responsibilities:

• Perform retail and community pharmacy technician duties within a health center setting.
• Support pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescriptions accurately.
• Utilize pharmacy systems such as Rx30 effectively.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism.
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Minimum of one year of recent retail pharmacy technician experience.
• Familiarity with Rx30 pharmacy system preferred.
• Spanish-speaking candidates are highly preferred but not required.
• Must demonstrate 100% reliability: punctuality and consistent attendance are critical. The director expects no missed days or late arrivals.
