Pharmacy Technician | Santa Ana, California

This opportunity seeks skilled Pharmacy Technicians to support a closed-door mail order pharmacy specializing in long-term care and sterile compounding. Location: Santa Ana, CA
Job Type: Contract, with potential for permanent placement

Schedule:

• Data Entry Technician #1: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM, rotating days off (Sun/Mon one month, Wed/Thurs the next, repeating)
• Data Entry Technician #2: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM, Tuesday through Saturday

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter prescription and patient data into pharmacy systems
• Collaborate with pharmacists and sterile compounding technicians to ensure timely order fulfillment
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy protocols and confidentiality standards
• Adapt to rotating weekend schedules and contribute to a consistent team environment

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Pharmacy Technician license required
• Experience with multiple electronic medical record (EMR) systems and pharmacy software frameworks highly valued
• Prior exposure to long-term care pharmacy or sterile compounding preferred, but new licensed technicians with strong commitment welcomed
