Pharmacy Technician in Santa Ana, CA

A Long-Term Care (LTC) closed-door mail order pharmacy is seeking experienced and motivated Pharmacy Technicians to fill critical data entry roles on a contract-to-perm basis. This opportunity is ideal for candidates licensed as Pharmacy Technicians who are committed to long-term employment and eager to work in a specialized pharmacy setting.

Location: Santa Ana, CA
Job Type: Contract-to-Perm

Schedule:

• Data Entry Technician 1: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM, with rotating days off (Sunday/Monday off one month; Wednesday/Thursday off the following month)
• Data Entry Technician 2: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM, Tuesday through Saturday

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter prescription and patient data into pharmacy systems
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and company policies
• Collaborate with sterile compounding IV technicians and pharmacy staff to support pharmacy operations
• Utilize a variety of EMR systems and frameworks efficiently
• Ensure data integrity and confidentiality at all times
• Contribute reliably to a team with weekend and holiday coverage

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacy Technician with current certification
• Experience working with multiple EMR systems or frameworks is a strong advantage
• Previous experience in long-term care or mail order pharmacy preferred
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to commit to rotating weekend shifts and a consistent schedule
• Strong work ethic and a willingness to grow within the pharmacy environment
