Pharmacy Technician | Santa Ana, California

A specialty infusion pharmacy in Orange County is seeking a skilled pharmacy technician for a contract opportunity with potential to convert to permanent. This role offers a Monday through Friday day-shift schedule and an immediate start for a 13-week assignment.

Responsibilities include accurately inputting patient demographics and insurance details, typing prescription labels, processing medication refills, and handling billing claims and authorization requests. You will also label and package injectable medications, ancillary supplies, and oral/topical medications according to patient orders. Preparing shipping documents, coordinating shipments, and confirming deliveries with patients are key duties. Additionally, you will reconcile shipments, receive and unpack medications, and maintain cleanliness of the IV room in compliance with USP <797> and company policies. Providing exceptional customer service through verbal, written, and in-person communication is essential, as is supporting the 340B program integrity.

Preferred qualifications:

• Current California Pharmacy Technician license
• At least 1 year of experience in hospital, ambulatory care, or infusion pharmacy settings
• Familiarity with IV preparations and handling
• Local candidate preferred for easy commuting
