Location: Santa Maria, CA
Schedule: Monday through Friday, day shifts
Duration: 13-week contract
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and mix chemotherapy and other infusion medications according to strict protocols and safety guidelines
- Support clinical pharmacists in daily pharmacy operations within the infusion center
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to medication preparation and administration
- Ensure compliance with sterile compounding standards and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with nursing and clinical staff to facilitate timely medication delivery and patient care
Qualifications:
- Valid California Pharmacy Technician license
- Proven experience working in oncology pharmacy or infusion center settings, specifically with chemotherapy admixture
- Ability to work full-time during Monday through Friday day shifts
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Good communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced healthcare environment
