Pharmacy Technician – Direct Hire Opportunity in Sayreville, NJ

A growing closed-door pharmacy is seeking two detail-oriented Pharmacy Technicians to join their team in Sayreville, New Jersey. This full-time, direct hire role offers the chance to work with an innovative therapy, UPNEEQ®, while managing a fast-paced prescription volume averaging 900 scripts per day. The ideal candidates will bring strong data entry skills and a commitment to precise prescription preparation and exceptional patient service.

Schedule:

  • 1st shift

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls from patients and healthcare providers with professionalism and accuracy
  • Assist patients in accessing UPNEEQ® and other prescription medications efficiently
  • Enter prescription and patient data accurately using Prime Rx pharmacy software
  • Support pharmacy staff in prescription preparation and other team duties
  • Maintain up-to-date, accurate patient, physician, and prescription records
  • Identify and report adverse events following company protocols
  • Provide outstanding customer service to both patients and physicians

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in New Jersey is required
  • Minimum of 1 year Pharmacy Technician experience, preferably in a mail order or closed-door pharmacy environment (retail experience considered)
  • Proven ability to manage high call volumes while maintaining superior accuracy and professionalism
  • Strong data entry abilities with attention to detail
  • Stability in work history; applicants with frequent job changes within the past year are discouraged
