Join a growing closed-door pharmacy team in Sayreville, New Jersey, as a Pharmacy Technician dedicated to helping patients access specialized therapies like UPNEEQ®. This direct hire role offers a dynamic work environment with a focus on patient care and operational excellence. You’ll be instrumental in managing a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, performing accurate prescription preparation, and supporting pharmacy operations with precision and professionalism.
Location: Sayreville, New Jersey
Schedule: Variable shifts including days and mid shifts; 2 days per week will be closing shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Pharmacy Software: Prime Rx
Average Script Volume: Approximately 900 prescriptions per day
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle high volumes of patient and healthcare provider calls to ensure timely and effective communication
- Deliver outstanding customer service to patients and physicians, addressing inquiries and supporting prescription orders
- Accurately enter data and maintain patient, physician, and prescription records with attention to detail
- Identify and report any adverse events following established protocols
- Support the pharmacy team in all operational tasks to maintain a smooth workflow
Qualifications:
- Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in New Jersey
- Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience, preferably in a mail order or closed-door pharmacy setting; retail experience is also considered
- Strong data entry skills and the ability to work with pharmacy management software
- Stability in recent employment history; candidates with multiple pharmacy changes in the past year will not be considered
