Pharmacy Technician | Sayreville, New Jersey

This opportunity offers a dynamic role for a licensed Pharmacy Technician to support patient access to a pioneering therapy within a fast-paced, closed-door pharmacy environment. Operating on a temp-to-perm basis in Sayreville, NJ, this position involves a blend of patient interaction and precise prescription processing.

Schedule / Hours:

• Variable shifts including days and mid shifts
• Two closing shifts per week
• Operating hours from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls with patients and healthcare providers
• Deliver exceptional customer service to both patients and physicians
• Accurately enter data and prepare prescriptions with strict attention to detail
• Identify and report adverse events following established protocols
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records for patients, physicians, and prescriptions

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license valid in New Jersey
• At least 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience, with preference given to those with mail order or closed-door pharmacy backgrounds
• Strong data entry skills ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Candidates with stable work history over the past year preferred; multiple short-term roles may not be considered

Pharmacy Software Knowledge:

• Familiarity with Prime Rx software is a plus
