Travel Pharmacy Technician in Schenectady, NY

A travel opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Technician specializing in chemotherapy admixture. This assignment is located within a cancer center infusion pharmacy serving the Albany, NY region with a duration of approximately 13 weeks and a start date ASAP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and compound chemotherapy medications in compliance with safety and quality standards
• Perform IV admixture duties with precision and attention to detail
• Float between three oncology network pharmacies within a 20-mile radius, requiring reliable transportation
• Collaborate closely with pharmacy and clinical teams to support patient care

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven background in chemotherapy admixture and infusion pharmacy settings
• PTCB certification highly preferred
• NY state pharmacy technician license NOT required
• Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and chemotherapy handling protocols
• Ability to work Monday through Friday on day shift (approximately 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM)

• Albany, NY area with travel between nearby oncology pharmacies (~20 miles)
