Travel Pharmacy Technician - Schenectady, NY

Seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician with specialized skills in chemotherapy and IV admixture for a travel assignment within a cancer center infusion pharmacy setting. This role is based in the Albany, NY area, focusing on oncology pharmacy services.

Location:

• Albany, NY area (assignment involves travel within a 20-mile radius between three pharmacies in the oncology network)

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, day shifts approximately 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Principal responsibility includes the preparation and admixture of chemotherapy medications
• Floating between three oncology pharmacies within the network, requiring reliable transportation
• Maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards in all medication preparation processes

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Strong background in chemotherapy and IV admixture procedures
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification is highly preferred
• New York pharmacy license not required for this assignment
• Ability to travel daily between pharmacy locations within the specified network
• Commitment to precision and patient safety in a highly specialized infusion setting
