A vital role is available for a skilled Pharmacy Technician specializing in long-term care (LTC) settings to support pharmacy operations through precise data entry and patient/provider communication. This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM (post-training) with required weekend rotation, providing a balanced and predictable workweek.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter new and refill medication orders into the pharmacy software system.
• Track delivery status to ensure timely medication arrival.
• Provide exceptional customer service by consulting telephonically with patients, providers, and pharmacy staff.
• Collaborate closely with team members to support efficient pharmacy operations and meet run-time commitments.
• Monitor and address any medication order issues promptly.
• Contribute equally to order entry duties and customer communication (approximately 50% each).

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Arizona Pharmacy Technician license and PTCB certification.
• Previous experience in long-term care pharmacy settings preferred.
