A healthcare facility in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a dedicated Per Diem Pharmacy Technician to support their pharmacy operations with excellent service and accuracy. This role focuses on dispensing prescribed medications, offering medication guidance, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately distribute medications prescribed by physicians and other healthcare practitioners
- Provide customers with clear, helpful information regarding their prescriptions and proper medication use
- Maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring patient satisfaction and safety
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to support efficient workflow and inventory management
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid Arizona Pharmacy Technician License (CPhT)
- Experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy settings preferred
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to patient confidentiality and professional ethics
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (9 hours per day, total 45 hours per week)
