Pharmacy Technician in Scottsdale, AZ

An opportunity is available for an experienced pharmacy technician adept at managing high-volume retail and mail order pharmacy duties. This role requires a professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and is ready to start immediately in a dynamic Scottsdale setting. The position primarily involves handling mail order prescriptions with some retail walk-in dispensing, demanding accuracy and efficiency throughout the shift.

Responsibilities:

• Perform typical retail pharmacy technician duties with a focus on mail order delivery.
• Manage high-volume data entry and prescription dispensing.
• Maintain a steady pace while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacy staff, demonstrating strong communication and teamwork.
• Exhibit pharmacy intuition by proactively identifying workflow needs and assisting as necessary.
• Stand throughout the entire shift in an active, fast-paced work environment.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of one year of recent experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy setting.
• Proven ability to handle tasks efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
• Experience with HIV/AIDS medication dispensing is highly preferred; candidates should highlight this on their resume.
• Valid Arizona pharmacy technician license or PTCB certification.
• Proficiency or familiarity with QS1 pharmacy software is a strong advantage.

Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
