Pharmacy Technician in Scottsdale, AZ

A retail pharmacy is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join their team on a 13-week contract to hire basis in Scottsdale, AZ. This role offers consistent weekday hours and the opportunity to work within a supportive pharmacy environment utilizing the Pioneer Rx system.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Location:

• Scottsdale, AZ

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately perform data entry and prescription processing
• Call patients and healthcare providers to verify information and clarify prescriptions
• Fill and dispense medications as prescribed, ensuring verification of patient allergies and adherence to protocols
• Respond to patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints following organizational policies
• Deliver exceptional customer service with professionalism and care

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Arizona
• Minimum of 2 years of recent retail pharmacy experience
• Proficiency with pharmacy systems, ideally Pioneer Rx, is a plus
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Work Environment:

• Supports a team of one pharmacist and three technicians
• Manage a moderate prescription volume of under 100 scripts per day
