Pharmacy Technician in Scottsdale, AZ

This role offers the opportunity to contribute as a Pharmacy Technician in a well-structured retail pharmacy setting located in Scottsdale, AZ. The position is a 13-week contract to hire with steady weekday hours, providing a balanced work schedule.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate data entry, processing prescriptions using the Pioneer Rx system, and filling and dispensing medications while ensuring patient allergy checks are completed. The role also involves proactive communication with patients and physicians to support medication management and address inquiries or concerns following organizational guidelines. Delivering excellent customer service to support patient care is a key aspect of this position.

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in Arizona
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in retail pharmacy settings
• Familiarity with prescription processing and patient communication

Work Environment:

• Supportive team including 1 pharmacist and 3 pharmacy technicians
• Prescription volume under 100 per day, allowing focus on accuracy and patient interaction
