Pharmacy Technician | Scottsdale, Arizona

A retail pharmacy technician opportunity is available in Scottsdale, AZ, offering a contract-to-hire position. This role supports a pharmacy team consisting of one pharmacist and three technicians, working with a moderate prescription volume of under 100 scripts daily. The position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., utilizing the Pioneer Rx system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter prescription data into the system.
• Contact patients and physician offices for prescription clarifications or renewals.
• Fill and dispense medications as prescribed, thoroughly checking for patient allergies before dispensing.
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints following organizational guidelines to ensure quality service.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to maintain patient satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Valid and active Pharmacy Technician license in Arizona is required.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience working in a retail pharmacy setting.
• Proficiency with Pioneer Rx system is advantageous.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
