Pharmacy Technician - Scottsdale, Arizona

An opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician to support a retail pharmacy setting with a dedicated team including one pharmacist and three technicians. This position offers a 13-week contract to hire with first-shift hours from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday, providing a consistent work schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate data entry to maintain pharmacy records
• Contact patients and physician offices as needed for medication verification and clarifications
• Fill and dispense medications as prescribed, ensuring patient allergies are checked prior to distribution
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints following organizational policies
• Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and pharmacy visitors

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in Arizona
• Minimum of 2 years recent retail pharmacy experience is required
• Familiarity with Pioneer Rx system preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare providers
