Join an established retail pharmacy team in Scottsdale, AZ, offering a dynamic role for an experienced Pharmacy Technician. This contract-to-hire opportunity features a supportive environment where you’ll work closely with a pharmacist and fellow technicians to provide exceptional pharmaceutical care.

Work Schedule:

• 1st shift: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter prescription and patient data using Pioneer Rx system
• Contact patients and physicians' offices to clarify prescription details or follow up on medication orders
• Fill and dispense medications as prescribed, ensuring thorough verification of patient allergies before dispensing
• Respond to patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and in line with organizational policies
• Deliver outstanding customer service to maintain a positive patient experience

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in Arizona
• Minimum of 2 years of recent retail pharmacy experience
• Proficiency with Pioneer Rx or similar pharmacy management systems preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills

Pharmacy Setting:

• Small team consisting of 1 pharmacist and 3 technicians
• Manage a daily prescription volume under 100, allowing for a focused and quality-driven workflow
