Per Diem Retail Pharmacy Technician | Selma, California

A reputable health center in the Selma, CA area is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician for a short-term per diem assignment. This role focuses on retail/community pharmacy duties within a health center setting. The contract is expected to last approximately 4-6 weeks, with a potential contract-to-hire opportunity for candidates who are Spanish-speaking. The position requires a strong commitment to reliability and punctuality.

Location & Schedule:

• Based near Fresno, CA, with a 15-20 minute commute to the Sanger facility
• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Perform retail pharmacy technician duties in a community health center environment
• Utilize the Rx30 system to accurately process prescriptions and support pharmacy operations
• Ensure timely and precise medication dispensing while adhering to pharmacy protocols
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare staff to deliver exceptional patient service

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a retail pharmacy technician
• Valid California pharmacy technician license; PTCB certification is an advantage
• Spanish-speaking candidates are highly preferred and will receive preferential consideration, though not required
• Exceptional reliability and punctuality—perfect attendance is expected without excused absences or tardiness
