Home Infusion Pharmacy Technician | Shelbyville, Kentucky

An opening opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician specializing in home infusion services within a growing TPN specialty compounding pharmacy. This role offers a unique chance to work alongside experienced professionals supporting nationwide TPN shipments with a focus on precision and detailed pharmacy operations.

Location:

• Louisville, KY

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate data entry essential for pharmacy operations
• Manage prior authorizations (PAs) to ensure timely patient access to medications
• Assist with sterile and clean room preparation tasks by supporting pharmacy technicians (note: this role does not include direct clean room compounding)
• Maintain materials management consistent with pharmacy standards and protocols

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Previous pharmacy technician experience, especially with infusion pharmacy practices, is advantageous but not mandatory
• Strong data entry skills and attention to detail are critical for success
• Familiarity with CPR+ pharmacy management system is highly preferred
• Possession of a valid Kentucky pharmacy technician license; national certification is strongly preferred

Contract Details:

• Immediate start with a contract expected to last approximately 12 to 13 weeks
• Opportunity to transition to a permanent role if a good fit
