Pharmacy Technician - Shelbyville, Kentucky

A specialty compounding pharmacy focused on nationwide shipment of Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) products is seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Louisville, KY. This role supports sterile and clean room operations by preparing materials and handling data entry tasks, contributing to the precision and quality that define this multi-site pharmacy’s service.

Location:

• Louisville, KY

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate data entry and manage materials needed for sterile compounding
• Assist with prior authorizations (PAs) as needed
• Prepare and organize supplies for sterile/clean room technicians, without directly working inside the clean room
• Maintain high attention to detail in all processes to ensure compliance and accuracy

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Prior experience in pharmacy technician roles, preferably with infusion or compounding pharmacy exposure
• Strong data entry skills and materials management capabilities
• Familiarity with CPR+ system highly preferred
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification and a valid Kentucky license are highly desired
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
