Pharmacy Technician - Shepherdsville, KY

A specialty compounding pharmacy focused on shipping Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) nationwide seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support operations at their Louisville, KY site. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers hands-on experience in a complex infusion pharmacy environment with the potential for permanent placement after the initial 12-13 week period.

Schedule and Location:

• Monday to Friday, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
• Louisville, KY facility

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate data entry related to pharmacy orders and materials
• Assist with prior authorizations (PAs) to ensure timely medication approval
• Support sterile and clean room preparations behind the scenes (note: this role does not require direct clean room compounding)
• Manage materials efficiently to maintain workflow and inventory accuracy

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail
• Experience in materials management within a pharmacy setting
• Prior infusion pharmacy experience is a plus but not required; this role is ideal for technicians wanting to gain infusion expertise
• Familiarity with CPR+ software is highly desirable
• Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician in Kentucky; national certification strongly preferred
