An opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacy Technician to support a 100-bed nonprofit hospital by covering a maternity leave. This position offers a flexible schedule with two shift options, providing a great fit for those seeking balance and variety in their work routine. The assignment begins in mid-May and extends for at least 13 weeks, with the potential to transition to permanent employment.

Responsibilities include accurately preparing and dispensing medications following hospital protocols, managing inventory using Omnicell and Allscripts systems, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and medication efficacy. The role requires familiarity with inpatient pharmacy procedures and a commitment to maintaining high standards of care.

Key qualifications for this role:

  • Valid Arizona Pharmacy Technician license
  • Experience in an inpatient hospital setting
  • Proficiency with Allscripts and Omnicell systems preferred
  • Flexibility to work either a 7-on/7-off night schedule or 4 days of 10.5-hour shifts (10:00 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.)
