Pharmacy Technician - Spring, TX

A pharmaceutical facility in Sugar Land, Texas is seeking a dedicated part-time Pharmacy Technician to support both retail and compounding operations. This contract-to-hire position offers an opportunity to work a flexible schedule—Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM—with the potential to transition to permanent employment.

This role demands a self-motivated individual capable of working independently and managing tasks with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable handling both retail pharmacy duties and compounding responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service at the retail counter.
• Assist in prescription intake, processing, and dispensing in accordance with pharmacy protocols.
• Prepare creams, ointments, and other non-sterile compounds following accurate formulation procedures.
• Maintain detailed and accurate compounding records.
• Occasionally support pharmacy delivery efforts; mileage or delivery expenses will be reimbursed.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Prior experience with compounding, especially creams and ointments, preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Strong attention to detail and a reliable work ethic.
• Effective communication skills and a customer-centric approach.
• Active and clear Texas Pharmacy Technician license is required.
