This opportunity is for a Temporary Lead Technician role supporting a healthcare facility specializing in adolescent and adult behavioral health. The position requires maintaining efficient pharmacy operations and assisting pharmacy staff while covering 40 hours per week until a permanent technician is hired.

Key Details:

  • Location: Fayetteville, AR
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (no weekends)
  • Contract position starting July 27th
  • 2-day hospital orientation, followed by on-site pharmacy training
  • Dress code: business casual or scrubs (any color except blue)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Fill and deliver medication orders to medication rooms
  • Manage inventory and stock supplies
  • Receive and reconcile daily warehouse orders and invoices
  • Review and process medication recalls
  • Assist with medication room audits
  • Provide supportive tasks alongside pharmacists for smooth pharmacy workflow

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current Arkansas Pharmacy Technician license
  • Experience in inpatient or retail pharmacy settings preferred
  • National certification as a pharmacy technician is highly valued
  • Familiarity with order entry systems; HCS training available
  • Experience with Omnicell automation a plus, but not required (installation begins 07/20/2026)
  • Ability to thrive in a behavioral health specialty environment preferred

Additional Information:

  • Staff size: 1.2 pharmacist full-time equivalents (FTE)
  • Local candidates preferred; if relocation is necessary, mileage and lodging will be considered
