Per Diem Pharmacy Technician | Springfield, Ohio

A healthcare facility in London, OH, is seeking a certified and Ohio licensed pharmacy technician for a per diem position. This role focuses on compounding both hazardous and non-hazardous medications, with coverage needed from early start ASAP through 8-12 weeks.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing hazardous and non-hazardous compounds safely and accurately
• Refilling inventory using the Pyxis automated system (experience required)
• Assisting pharmacists with medication order entry, familiarity with EPIC is a plus but not mandatory
• Supporting daily pharmacy operations within a small, focused staff team

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Ohio pharmacy technician certification and licensure
• Proficiency in compounding hazardous and non-hazardous medications
• Experience with Pyxis automated medication systems
• Basic knowledge of EPIC order entry system preferred
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Potential weekend coverage 1-2 weekends per month

Location:

• London, OH 43140
• Local candidates preferred; travel expenses will be considered for qualified candidates residing outside the immediate area

Staffing Context:

• Average daily census of 15 patients
• Pharmacy team includes approximately 3.8 pharmacists and 2.8 technicians
