Pharmacy Technician in Stanford, CA

A premier children’s hospital in Northern California is seeking skilled Pharmacy Technicians to support their pharmacy operations. Location:

• Palo Alto, CA

Schedule/Hours:

• ASAP start
• Approximately 6-month contract

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
• Utilize EPIC software to manage medication orders and patient information
• Assist pharmacists in maintaining inventory and compliance with safety regulations
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure timely delivery of pharmaceutical services
• Support pediatric patient care by ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in all pharmaceutical tasks

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Certified Pharmacy Technician credential preferred
• Experience working in a hospital pharmacy environment, preferably pediatrics
• Proficiency with EPIC or similar electronic health record systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a busy setting
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
